The Cycles of Life…
Have you ever noticed how nothing is ever really consistent?
You constantly experience cycles with everything.
One minute your inspired, focused and feeling motivated about something, the next minute it requires some super effort to just take the first step.
Peaks and troughs, highs and lows. Is that something actually physically changing or is it our mental outlook that changes?
Might be a bit of both, might not be either.
The one thing you can be sure of is that change is always occurring , whether it’s good or not so good.
Embrace it, understand it and accept it. To do otherwise is futile.
Insightful thought for 12 Nov
“You’re either growing or dying.”
With everything that you do, no matter whether it is your band, a business, relationship, job, etc, if you’re not constantly learning new ways to improve or grow then you’re dying away.
It’s an illusion to think otherwise.
Learning does not end when you leave school, especially if you have aspirations of achieving better things in life.
The Dualities of Life…
You can’t have:
- pleasure without pain
- happiness without sadness
- life without death
- success without failure
- victory without defeat
- joy without sorrow
- relief without tension
- pleasure without pain
- excitement without boredom
- good without bad
- strength without weakness
- love without hate
- movement without stillness
- hope without despair
- etc
And it always seem that when you have too much of one thing, its opposite appears to balance things out.
I really wish at times it didn’t have to be this way but I have to accept that I didn’t write the rules on how life and the universe operates!
Watch The Opus trailer
The Opus is not another movie about the law of attraction but rather a thought provoking look into how a person can and should look into achieving their true potential.
Here’s the video trailer of The Opus which I watched and quite enjoyed a few days ago.

Why You Should Watch The Opus…
I’ve just finished watching The Opus and I was pleasantly surprised with it.
I was expecting it to be an extension to The Secret about the law of attraction as it featured quite a few similar speakers like Dr. Joe Vitale, Jack Canfield, Dr. John Demartini, Morris Goodman, Marci Shimoff and Bob Doyle.
However, even though they do refer to the law of attraction in this movie, that’s not what The Opus is mainly about.
It’s about making people think about what their purpose is in life, finding a vision and most importantly, taking action steps to get started towards your ultimate vision.
It’s about allowing yourself to dream and strive for things you feel passionate about rather than limiting yourself.
The law of attraction kicks in as part of the action taking process towards your goals they explain. Events, scenarios and people will be attracted to you along the way but you must take action towards a goal to start with.
Success is always accompanied by challenge and it’s during these times that your vision, passion and commitment of utmost importance.
In summary, The Opus is a movie about learning to maximise a person’s potential through vison, planning and action steps which is the important aspect that The Secret missed out when it comes to attracting the future you wish to have for yourself.
