This diagram from Track Social has certainly been my experience with Facebook.
The near perfect Facebook status, in my opinion, is a photo asking a question that may also include a link.
I found this to be a very useful diagram from SEOMoz. It reinforces that a lot of ‘regular’ social media is most effective for brand building and not immediate sales.
People aren’t on social networks with their hand on wallet, ads on the other hand are a slightly different story.
Social media has become the number activity on the web YET
are not welcome in China.
