In 2006, a little independent documentary titled “The Secret” started to spread like wildfire throughout the world.

It was so inspirational, it gave people a renewed hope in life because it claimed you could be, do or have anything in life, large claims huh?!

The Secret is all about the law of attraction, and if you haven’t heard about it by now, you must be living under a rock!

In a nutshell, it states that everything that exists is formed from energy where like energy is attracted to like energy.

Your thoughts are energy at their most basic form hence the law of attraction suggests you attract everything into your life including people, events and various other things.

There are arguments for and against this concept so is it just some airy fairy concept or actually something very profound?

I’ll be exploring this idea a bit more, analysing it in deeper detail as it’s not as cut and dry as ‘The Secret’ DVD initially suggests.
