Malcolm Gladwell Outliers book review
The Malcolm Gladwell Outliers book was such a fascinating read for me and is well worth reading in my opinion.
In the Outliers book, Malcolm Gladwell discusses all these hidden elements that occur and contribute to patterns of success. He provides example after example of how there were many more factors at play than just a person’s sheer determination or drive to succeed.
The Beatles didn’t just appear from out of nowhere, for a long time they performed every night in a seedy club refining their musicianship.
Bill Gates didn’t just happen to stumble upon his success either, there was a very fortunate sequence of events that led to his success.

Chris

Nice, Chris.. Markus was looking at this book – will have to pass on the good word!
I really like Malcolm Gladwell’s topic writing choices. Blink and The Tipping Point are also great reads. I bought Outliers and read it on my way back from my last UK trip, it’s interesting how he writes about different case studies yet pulls them all together with his outlier philosophy in this book ie. hockey players, musicians, Bill Gates, Korean Airlines.
