As musicians, we strive to make a career from music, to earn money from our art form and to live off what we love doing.

So what happens if a musician then performs strictly motivated by the money?

    If you are an unestablished musician and elect to just performs just for money, you best keep a day job. Why? Because you will not grow your fan base by connected with them with your music and creating moments for them to cherish forever. If an artist is passionate about their music they will eventually become successful, provided they don’t mind working long hours and making incremental daily improvements.
