A Quick Look at Google Picasa 3

My personal opinion of Google Picasa 3 is that it is a fantastic improvement on Picasa 2.

They have played around with the menu a little bit but my favourite aspects are the additional features that lacked in Picasa 2.

The ‘red eye removal’ is far superior than the previous version and I actually use it now rather than fixing it in Photoshop.

The ‘retouch’ tool is a cool feature to play with if you want to remove blemishes from photos.

You also now have the ability to write text on your images which you couldn’t do before.

It’s still a very easy to use program and if you take lots of snaps with your digital camera, I highly recommend using Picasa to management and tweak your photo collection.

Google Launch New Internet Browser

Google has just released a brand new browser called Chrome.

Google claims Chrome will speed up your browsing experience by being much more efficient at processing javascript which is now becoming more common place amongst many web based applications.
